Oregon Walks’ Walking School Bus Program helps neighbors become local leaders for safer, healthier, and more connected communities.
The program is designed to develop community transportation champions so that they may be the change-makers in their own communities. It teaches leadership skills, community organizing, transportation safety, and the impacts of transportation choices on the environment, all with the goal of empowering communities to create a program that is uniquely theirs.
