Oregon Walks is dedicated to promoting walking and making the conditions for walking safe, convenient and attractive throughout Oregon.

Walkstars Is Here!

Each year, members and supporters of Oregon Walks gather to break bread, celebrate, honor, and raise funds for the organization. This is the Walkstars.

This year we are gathering on Saturday, September 30th at Zenger Farms from 5-7:30pm.

We are incredibly excited to come together, in person, for the first time in years and we hope you will join us! If you want to support Oregon Walks, enjoy the company of other safe streets advocates, or just have a good time, click here, to buy tickets.

This event is made possible by the generous support of sponsors. Thank you to:

Platinum Sponsors: Multnomah County Health Department and REACH Program

Gold Sponsors: Thomas, Coon, Newton, & Frost and Forum Law Group

Bronze Sponsors: NW Natural, Beneficial State Bank, and AARP of Oregon

How Do We Make Our Streets Safer?

We partner with community-based groups and organizations to listen and learn what walking issues are important to them.

We advocate with our partners for better laws, more sidewalks and signed crosswalks, education programs, community improvements designed for pedestrians, and increased funding to support these activities.
