Meet at the White Cane Awareness booth next to PBOT’s Information booth on SW Vermont next to Gabriel Park. Join white cane and guide dog users for a 1/2 mile walk in the neighborhood. Learn about our navigation techniques and the extra awareness we use to safely move on sidewalks and cross streets. If you are a driver, learn how to be more aware of us when you are in a car. Everyone is welcome. This event is concurrent with the Southwest Portland Sunday Parkways presented by Kaiser Permanent. Enjoy this walk and all the vendors, community booths, live entertainment, and other family-friendly activities.
