SE Portland Walk & Collage in Collaboration with SCRAP PDX

Art-making is often done in isolation, in the comforts of our safe spaces, or at odd hours when inspiration strikes. Oregon Walks’ Walk & Collage event brings artists of all ages and levels together to move our bodies, let the city inspire us, and feel connected to one another and our communities.
We’ll embark on an urban walk in SE Portland (less than 1 mile), starting at Common Grounds Coffeeshop, take in the sights of Portland’s charmy old homes, swing by the brand new Belmont Library, and stroll down the winding trails of Laurelhurst Park before posting up in the grass and letting the day’s adventure influence our art-making. At the end, we’ll wrap up with a gallery walk and share-out, and attendees will receive a take-home kit with extra collaging materials.
A special thank you to SCRAP PDX for generously donating materials for this event! While everything will be provided, you are also welcome to bring your own materials.
