Sunday, September 28th (meet at 2 PM, depart at 2:15 PM). Location: Montgomery Plaza – 601-699 SW Montgomery St, Portland, OR 97201

This walk will explore areas adjacent to I-405 and consider the history of what was demolished to build the highway.  Attendees will have the opportunity to observe the effects of I-405 on the urban form, pedestrian conditions, and land use within the surrounding neighborhoods. Starting location is Montgomery Plaza, between SW Broadway St and SW 6th Ave on SW Montgomery Street. Walk will end at Pride Plaza on SW Harvey Milk St between SW 12th Ave and SW 13th Ave.
