Small cool things #1: Birdhouse
One of my favorite things about walking is the chance to observe the small, cool things that are so easy to miss if you're covering more ground. In this series, I'll be sharing some of these "small cool things" -- but I won't tell you exactly where they are. If you want to see them, you'll have to go out walking and find them yourself!
I usually pass by this birdhouse on my way up to Alberta St. It's made of real wood, and shaped like a small log cabin. I particularly love the way it's developed the coating of moss that so many things in Portland have. If I were a bird, I would definitely make this my house.
