Announcing Oregon Walks' new Interim Executive Director!

We’re beyond thrilled to announce that our very own Inna Levin has stepped up into the role of Interim Executive Director while we search for our next permanent leader.


Inna has been with Oregon Walks since 2015, most recently as our Volunteer & Events Manager. Inna has lead many of our community engagement initiatives, including Walkways, our annual community open-streets event; our rebrand of Walktober into Steptember, our month-long walking series; and Safe Routes to School walks in partnership with Portland Public Schools and Portland Bureau of Transportation. She also coordinates volunteers for our annual fundraising gala, the Weston Awards, and our summer community outreach efforts. She chairs Oregon Walks’ Communications and Legislative Advisory Committees. Currently, she is excited to be planning this year’s Rosewood Walkways event with The Rosewood Initiative and Transportation Trivia night in partnership with the Community Cycling Center.

Before coming to Oregon Walks, Inna worked at SW Community Health Clinic, the Campus Sustainability Office at Portland State University, and on the Transportation Team in Former Portland Mayor Sam Adams’ office. She has a BA from PSU, where she studied Community Development and Sustainable Urban Planning and co-founded the PSU Student Union. Inna further supports nonprofit work by serving on the Associate Board of Young Audiences of Oregon and Southern Washington and the Board of Know Your City. In her spare time, she likes to dance.

With this new temporary role, Inna will be the main contact for Oregon Walks and liaison to our Board, while continuing her work coordinating our awesome volunteers and planning fun and fabulous events. volunteer and while she ensures the sidewalk remains unbroken at Oregon Walks HQ. We’re thrilled to have Inna step into this role.
